In our Fix Helldivers 2 Quickplay Not Working, Failed to Join Game Lobby guide, we are going to explain what you can do to work around this issue. There is a fix that’s surprisingly simple, but there is no solution that works all of the time. Which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a couple tries, at least until the developers address the situation.
To fix the issue where Quickplay is just not working as it should in Helldivers 2 and you keep getting the “Failed to Join Game Lobby” error message, you need to disable crossplay. This seems to have the highest chance of actually working, though not exactly at a 100% success rate. Enough to warrant giving it a shot, though. Open the pause menu in the game and tab over to Options. You can see the tabs in the upper left. On the left side of the screen, go into the Gameplay and scroll down to Crossplay. Toggle it to Off and the press the Apply button. It’s X on Xbox, Triangle on PlayStation and TAB on PC; you can see what it is on your platform in the bottom right.
';document.getElementById("serge_5f895c6208f81a315320ec57").style.display = "block"; }So, yeah, that is the most consistent way to fix the Helldivers 2 Quickplay not working and finally get rid of the “Failed to Join Game Lobby” error message. Again, it’s not guaranteed to work, so you might have to try getting into Quickplay several times before it will actually let you in. Ultimately, though, this is something that the developers have to repair on their end. Until then, it’s going to be a struggle getting into Quickplay no matter what you do. And, sure you can try all the other usual suspects: updating your drivers and the game itself (and the client), restarting your device, disabling the firewall and/or antivirus and so on, but I doubt any of it will work.
