NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Irish rock legends U2 are are taking a little detour from their current eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour 2018 to perform a special, invite-only show at the Apollo Theater in New York.
The concert, set for June 11, will only be available to subscribers of the SiriusXM satellite radio service, as announced by Howard Stern today during his live SiriusXM program The Howard Stern Show.
For the show, U2 will perform material from its current album “Songs of Experience,” as well as classic hits from the band’s extensive catalog.
Four Watchfires were lit and scheduled to burn for 24 hours beginning at midnight on Monday, May 30, an annual Memorial Day coordinated by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 333, Rockland County. The fires can be seen at the end of the Piermont Pier, at Clausland Mountain in Orangetown, Bowline Park in Haverstraw, and Eugene Levy Memorial Park in Pomona.
