State College woman involved in 2016 overdose death arrested for meth possession

A State College woman involved in the 2016 overdose death of a Centre County woman is facing new drug charges after being arrested for possession of methamphetamine earlier this month, according to a criminal complaint.

Sabine Graham, 27, was arrested on March 14 at the Exxon/Dunkin Donuts service station in State College after Rockview state police were notified that she was to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine, the complaint states.

She faces several charges, including manufacture/possession/delivery with the intent to manufacture or deliver, possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.

Police say on March 14, officers were notified that Graham was to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine and was located at the Exxon/Dunkin Donuts service station along East College Avenue in State College.

Police located Graham in the parking lot, sitting inside of a white Ford SUV and observed her "conversing" with a known male, according to the complaint.

When officers approached her vehicle, police say Graham quickly moved her hand to between her legs and clinched it, the complaint adds.

Police say Graham told them that she was waiting to give a friend a ride and that during the entire conversation, "her hand never moved from between her clinched legs."

The complaint states that police then asked Graham for consent to search the vehicle, which she denied, and that a K-9 unit was then dispatched to the scene.

When Graham exited the vehicle, police say she quickly moved her hand from between her legs to her pocket, at which time a pat down was conducted.

Officers say that during the pat down, troopers recovered a plastic bag from her pocket containing approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine.

Police say a digital scale, an additional 23 grams of methamphetamine, a bulk of plastic bags and several prescription medications were also found in Graham's vehicle.

Graham was transported to Centre County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 1, court dockets show.

In April of last year, Graham pleaded guilty in the overdose death of woman in 2016.

Police say Graham sold the drugs to the woman and that her body was later found in a snowdrift in Ferguson Township in February of 2016.
