Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice features one of the coolest special ability mechanics in video games. Using your shiny new left arm, which is actually old and dingy and somewhat magical, you can perform a ton of different actions that are pretty necessary in your quest to save the Divine Heir. One of these is available pretty early in the game and is vital to resotring your honor and defeating the many foes that stand in your way. Here’s where to get the axe Prosthetic attachment in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The answer is in Hirata Estate, see how to get there right here. Once you cross over the bridge and find the Estate Path Sculptor’s Idol within the town itself you are pretty close to finding the axe Prosthetic. Continue down the path, through the buildings or above them if you prefer the stealth approach from the rooftops. Eliminate or avoid any foes in your way until you go through a rocky ravine and reach a T-junction. To the right are two guards in front of a large locked gate. They’re speaking to each other and you can eavesdrop on them if you want. The axe is actually to the left though, so feel free to ignore them for now.
Go left and over the wall to your left. You should see a smaller shed-like structure with two enemies in front once again. You can eavesdrop again if you want, but what you really want is inside that shed. Kill the two guards, dropping on one from above then swiftly attacking the other to make short work of it, then open the door to find the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey. Take this back to the Sculptor in the Dilapidated Temple and you’ll have the all-powerful axe.
And that’s where to get the axe Prosthetic attachment in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This thing is great at taking away enemy posture, as well as breaking through shields.
