To earn the distinction, the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 days, among other quality standards for a minimum of two years.
Stamford Health’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center offers specialized treatment to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections or other wounds caused by injury, disease, a surgical incision, poor blood supply to a body area, poor nutrition or other factors, which have not healed within a reasonable amount of time.
